Tom Strickler - Superintendent at Columbia Borough School District

Before being named as Superintendent, Tom Strickler served as Director of Operations for Columbia Borough School District under a shared services agreement with Eastern Lancaster County School District.   A 1976 Columbia High School graduate, Strickler served on Columbia Borough’s school board for 15 years, with 10 as president. Prior to this stint in education, he served as Director of Operations overseeing the 6,800 team members in the Commonwealth’s 97 Welfare offices.  He has had the opportunity to work for Fortune 500 companies as well as small and medium family owned businesses.  A varied 30 year background including experience in petroleum, horse feed and pet supplies, transporting and securing cash, amusement park, concerts, tour guide and alarm systems.  One common theme throughout his career is a Passion for Children to succeed without regard to their zip code.
 


Molly Miller - Advanced Engineering/Technology Educator at Penn Manor High School

Molly Miller earned her undergraduate degree from Millersville University and quickly found a job at Penn Manor High School upon graduation. She returned to Millersville to complete her Masters of Education in Technology and Innovation. 

Currently she serves on the board of directors for the Pennsylvania Technology Student Association (TSA) and the Technology and Engineering Education Association of PA (TEEAC). She was recently named the 2018 IU-13 Secondary STEM teacher of the year.

 


Carole Clancy - Director of Pupil Services at Solanco School District

Carole Clancy was recently named as the Director of Pupil Services for Solanco School District.  Previously, she spent two years as the Director of Special Education in the Oxford Area School District , and served 20 years in the special education department at the School District of Lancaster as supervising coordinator of special education, intervention specialist, and teacher.
